How does telly.cat work?
Pick a service and country, pay the listed price from your wallet balance, and you'll instantly get a phone number. Enter it wherever that service asks for a phone number, and the verification code will appear on your telly.cat dashboard within seconds to a couple of minutes.
How long is a number active for?
Up to 15 minutes while waiting for the first SMS. Once a code is delivered, the number is yours for that verification; most services only send one code per number.
What if I don't receive a code?
If a number times out with no SMS, or you mark it as banned (meaning it never worked), your balance is refunded automatically. No need to contact support.
What's the difference between "Cancel" and "Ban"?
Cancel gives up on a number you haven't used yet. Ban flags a number as bad specifically because it never delivered a working code. Use it once you've given up waiting. Both refund your balance; ban isn't available once a code has already arrived.
Can I stay anonymous?
Yes. Choose "Anonymous" at signup and you'll get a 16-digit account token instead of a username/password. No email required. Save it somewhere safe; it's shown once and it's the only way back into that account.
How do I add funds?
Click "Add funds" on your dashboard and pay with crypto through our payment provider. Minimum top-up is $5. Your balance updates automatically once the payment confirms on-chain.
Do you support two-factor authentication?
Yes, TOTP-based 2FA (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) can be enabled from Account settings. Once on, it's required for every login and for changing your password or email.
Can I resell numbers through my own platform?
Yes, generate an API key from your dashboard and use our REST API to buy numbers and check status programmatically.
How does the affiliate program work?
Share your referral link from the dashboard. When someone signs up through it and tops up their balance, you earn a commission automatically, for as long as they keep using telly.cat.
A service I need isn't in the list: what do I do?
Search for it by name in the buy form. We support well over a thousand services. If it genuinely isn't available, "Other" works as a general-purpose fallback number.
